Also known as a cremation without ceremony, direct cremation is an unattended service with no formal funeral ceremony. Your deceased loved one will be conveyed by our funeral directors in a Mercedes-Benz hearse. Your loved one’s ashes will be returned to you on a date that suits you best.
Direct cremations still give you the benefit of a personal touch, along with the management of all the necessary administration and logistics. Plus, you have the freedom to plan a ceremony at a later date if you wish to hold one. This service ultimately gives you the flexibility to approach your bereavement in your own way and in your own time.
We’ll collect your loved one from wherever they passed away (eg, hospital, hospice or home) and bring them into our care until the day of their cremation.
We will wash and dress them in your chosen attire and then place them in a traditional oak veneer coffin.
We’ll accompany them to a crematorium chosen by our funeral director in our Mercedes-Benz hearse.
We’ll return their ashes to you at home within 14 days of their cremation.
